Because the world was obviously created in a giant tea bowl by a lady who looks like the demonic offspring of Legolas and Vince Noir. IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE.
Anyway, this painting was supposed to have some sort of mythological symbolism and stuff but I got distracted by painting shiny things. Also, the anatomy is rubbish, I know. If anything, my excuse is that I lacked internets so I couldn't get a reference picture.
This took me... at least fourteen hours. Which is ten more than I'd usually consider spending on a painting, but there we go. Listening to a bizarre range of music from CSS to System Of A Down.
This is absolutely stunning; you put so much consideration and detail into your pieces...you have alot of patience, which really shows in your art. The colours are stunning, and the concept is unique and almost legend-like....
I want to live on a world made out of tea. No fair! This is simply gorgeous. Love the idea, the lady looks super awesome, as does her tatoo (shiny!), her shirt looks most beautifull, and I am particularly fond of the textures of the bowl.
I think my favorite part is the tea and the frothyness. It looks so liquidy but also very flowing and... yeah! Stuff! I also really like the bowl and how the lady is rising out of the tea, and the texture of the fabric. Hooray!

We were at the beach. Everybody had matching towels. Somebody went under a dock, and there they found a rock.
It wasn't a rock.
It was a rock lobster. [link] APPRECIATE! APPRECIATE! AAAAAAH!!!!!!
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Dammit Kassie, whenever I look at your work I get a strange urge to colour, but I've always got far too much else to do T-T
