I have no idea who these people are or what is going on. Make up your own story for this, I'd love to hear it.
Er... I've been working on this for weeks now, had the concept brewing even longer. Credit is owed to a multitude of different things that inspired me, notably Stargate Atlantis, the work of Iain M Banks, the Trajan Forum, and the song "Chapter Four" by Avenged Sevenfold. I'm pretty pleased with the composition, not so much with the lighting and anatomy.

I like the beams of light from the hoverbots, but I'd say that overall the lighting could use a little more contrast. Otherwise, glowey boots and frickin' awesome hair are always love <3
Oh WOW! Such pretty texture, especially to his pants and the hand is amazing, and I like how her socks look old and worn! This is so cool! I could list several other things about this picture that please me, including the lighting and the funky colors. But I am sleepy so I shall simply say WOW! And fav'd <3

We were at the beach. Everybody had matching towels. Somebody went under a dock, and there they found a rock.
It wasn't a rock.
It was a rock lobster. [link] APPRECIATE! APPRECIATE! AAAAAAH!!!!!!
It looks like he lost his mask and something in the air is killing him (and maybe also mutating his arm?...then again maybe not, she's got sparkly arm-spots). They got separated, and she found him, but it's probably too late. The robots were tagging along with her to help search and to provide lighting. That or one of them was with him and went back to get help. (The robots look fairly friendly. Also, they're pretty small. If they were hostile, they'd probably travel in a swarm.)
The two robot-things look like a cross between Darth Vader's helmet and a horseshoe crab (but flying, robotic, and with lights in place of eyes and legs.). But they're incredibly cute!
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
